Stolen thumb sized marmosets missing

Thumb sized baby marmosets were stolen from a zoo. They are so cute maybe it wa a crime of passion?

Daily Mail

A pair of baby marmoset monkeys the size of a human thumb were amongst a haul of rare animals and birds stolen in a burglary of a zoo.

The tiny primates were amongst an entire colony of the threatened black-eared marmosets that was stolen along with a number of exotic birds from Exmoor Zoo in Bratton Fleming, Barnstaple, Devon.

Curator Danny Reynolds said he believed the burglary had been carried out by thieves stealing to order.

Awe, those monkeys are so cute. They are probably the parents of the stolen ones. It's sad when animals like these are taken and then die because the thief doesn't know how to take care of them. I hope they are returned.

Either that or stuff them and make them into small cuddly toys :)

I think you are right, I thought these would be the babies, but maybe not.
