The Asian rhino and elephant were born last month at Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire but have not yet been named.

The young elephant had spent almost two years being carried around by the mother, Kaylee, in the longest gestation period of any land animal.
Meanwhile the young one-horned rhino is the first of its kind to be born at Whipsnade in 17 years.
It has distinctive “armour plating” skin and was on its feet within an hour of being born.
The young female was about the size of a pot-bellied pig when it was born, but could grow to 6ft and weigh two tonnes when adult.
