Recovery Diver in the Mississippi river

Now here is a facinating helmet, with a camera and light I think
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Aug. 11, 2007) - Chief Navy Diver, Scott Maynard attached to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2, readies for a dive into the Mississippi river in support of ongoing search and recovery operations of the I-35W bridge collapse.

The gear he is wearing indicates the job is very dangerous and not at all fun.
A helmet to prevent head injuries, what appears to be a leather outer jacket to prevent chunks of flesh from being ripped off by shards of metal that goes unseen in the murky water. Nope, definitely nothing recreational about that diving!
