Army aircraft in the good old days.

The Heritage Foundation (purchases and maintains old army aircraft for historical sake) had a display today, and was giving Huey rides. We went to take pics.

The first three are of a Cobra; the access panels are removed for a 150 hour inspection. The Huey with the people sitting on it is not in flight condition at this time, they don't even have the log book yet. It is their next project.

These are airframes that just aren't going to ever see the tops of trees again.

Wow neat photos. Where old aircraft get reborn :)

There is a massive amount of tech under those panels on the Cobra.

Will they use those old airframes for parts?

Whats the little bubble one?
