The worlds ugliest building?

The Ryugyong Hotel (or Ryu-Gyong Hotel or Yu-Kyung Hotel or the 105 Building) is a towering, empty concrete shell that was once intended for use as a hotel in Sojang-dong, in the Potong-gang District of Pyongyang, North Korea.

The hotel's name comes from one of the historic names for Pyongyang: Ryugyong, or "capital of willows". Its 105 stories rise to a height of 330 m (1,083 ft), and it boasts some 360,000 m (3.9 million ft) of floor space, making it the most prominent feature of the city's skyline and by far the largest structure in that country.

Construction started in 1987 and reached a cessation in 1992. If the building were ever completed, it would be the world's tallest hotel and the seventh largest building in the world.[1] However, as of 2006, it remains unfinished and uninhabited.

If they had built in anywhere else in the world it would have been pretty cool and might have had a lot of occupants. Sadly most N.Koreans dont have food to eat or even a radio. This kind of hotel is only an insult to them.

Another amazing this is that, how did the N.Koreans get the money to make this monstrosity when their people are starving and their nation is in shambles ?

I dont think it is necessarily ugly, with reflective glass paneling and some more work it would look pretty good if it had been made in Shanghai or Tokyo.
