Buddhist monk died 75 years ago, body is in suspended animation
The leading Buddhist monk dies in Russia in 1927, on his death he predicts the Stalinist purges and tells his followers to get out while they can.
He also says he will return 75 years later. When they dig him up 75 years after his death his body is still supple, skin elastic, joints movable, and
when you cut him red gel appears.
Scientists unable to understand how his body is like someone who died 12 hours earlier. Scientists agree its protein structure is that of a living
person and that the body is in a state of anabiosis or suspended animation.

The fact that this was shown on Al Jazeera is almost as fascinating as the fact that this old monk seems to be suspended in time.
Also, I was always told of Stalin's purges of the Jews but never knew they affected so many other religions as well. I guess that is a product of our
skewed education also.
