Girl gets flu shot and now can only walk backwards - one in a million side effect

Experts claim serious side effects of flu shots amount to about one in a million - well this is what that one in a million looks like. A sad story worth watching

A 25 year old woman in Ashburn, Virginia has come down with a severe debilitating neurological disorder days after receiving a seasonal flu vaccination.

Just a note that correlation is not causation. As a poster notes Reddit.com Click the link for some good (and some not so good) comments and observations

There is no link between the influenza vaccine and dystonia. What happened to this woman is tragic, but it can not be reasonably concluded that the flu shot was the cause (and a 10-day lag time between the shot and the apparently-sudden onset of the full set of symptoms sheds doubt on that proposition). The flu shot is simply something out of the ordinary that occurred in the period directly before the onset of this disorder.

It is irresponsible and irrational to say that flu vaccines cause dystonia because of this one instance, in which a woman got a flu shot and then a little while later this disorder took effect with no causative link or even speculative link between the two except that one happened after the other.
