How carbon fiber is woven for the Lexus LFA - video

Weaving the Lexus LFA's carbon fiber A-pillar is mesmerizing. With only 1 of 2 machines in existence Toyota use it to create the carbon fiber A-pillars on the LFA.

The Lexus LFA began as a research-and-development project in 2000, emerged as a concept car in 2005, and will go into production in 2010. The V10-powered, carbon-fiber-bodied Lexus will be the fastest and most expensive car ever from the minds of Toyota, reaching 202 mph and costing around $375,000 in the US. Only 500 will be built.
